I am poem

I am a kaimanawa horse
I wonder what’s the common distance of my gallop
I hear all the birds singing in the woods
I see as far as the ocean
I want to be the best I can be
I am amazing in everthing
I pretend that I’m a supersonic horse in a speedy race
I feel the wind fighting against me as I gallop
I touch the drenched grass underneath my hooves as I run
I worry I will get sick in this numbing cold
I cry I wont make it in the cold
I am fearless and strong
I understand that I can be mean
I say to myself be brave
I dream I’m flying through the clouds
I try to be strong, tough, kind and the best I can be.
I hope My family finds me but for now I'm all alone
I am bolt

  1. Hi Darby I love the effective adjectives that you use in this poem e.g. "drenched grass" Keep up the excellent level 3/4 writing.
